I graduated from OU in 2003 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently living and working outside New Orleans. I tied the knot Valentine's Day 2004. I work for DuPont as a project engineer. 
Fondest Memory:  There are so many... Maybe the stinking band room after a game!

After LHS I obtained a BA in Social Work from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin (2001), and an MS in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma (2002).

I have been working fulltime as a medical social worker for a hospice in Oklahoma City since graduating. I am currently pursuing my clinical license and plan to enter law school to specialize in geriatric issues.
 
Fondest Memory:  I'll never forget when we placed third at UIL marching during senior year and were denied advancing to state finals despite Mr. Kent's impassioned pleas to the judges.

I pursued a music education degree for 2 years at Baylor University but got really burned out. I finished with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal performance at Texas Woman's University. I'm currently living in the Chicagoland area working at U.S. Cellular as a software tester.  
Fondest Memory:  UIL marching band competitions, All-Region/All-State, singing The Lord's Prayer and praying before Friday night football games, bus rides to Wichita Falls, pep rallies

I graduated from UTD with a BA in literary studies and a minor in art history in 2003, then earned my MA in English literature from the University of Virginia in 2004. I am currently the assistant editor for a magazine in Baton Rouge, LA.

After graduation I went to SFA and graduated with a BSIS. I am currently teaching kindergarten at a charter school in Irving but I am living in Little Elm with my husband and two dogs.
Fondest Memory:  It was all such a blast I don't have just one. Friday night football games,
competitions, and my life long friends.

After graduation, I attended Texas Tech University and graduated in May of 2004 with a Master of Architecture. I am now back in the area working toward my license at the Dallas office of RTKL Associates.
Fondest Memory:  Many great memories...they all came back to me on the plane ride back from Montreal two years ago when I looked down and saw the LHS band practicing just before landing. Very cool sight.

In 2003 I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science. I am currently working at a bank in the area and working on my teaching certificate. 
Fondest Memory:  My fondest memories include hot and cold football games, trips to Corpus Christi, and long, long bus rides.

Graduated UT-Austin in 2003 with MIS and Business Honor degrees. Currently working as IT auditor at Deloitte & Touche in Dallas. Travel to many part of the country for my job, but still live in Lewisville - will roll down my windows to listen to band practice if I happen to be driving by :) 
Fondest Memory:  Made big list of things I'd remember and miss when I graduated HS - can't recall it all now, but what comes back can't possibly fit in this little space!

Well, I went to University of North Texas after high school. I'm now a senior technical recruiter for my company's first "National Team". I have 2 boys and 1 step-daughter and live in Grand Prairie.  I went off to college at UNT. After my first year, I left and worked as an HR Manager at Mervyn's. After a couple of years of that, I moved into the staffing field and I'm now a National Technical Recruiter with a company in Irving, TX. I have 2 little boys and 1 step-daughter and I'm living in Grand Prairie with my wonderful husband. 
Fondest Memory:  My fondest memories would have to be Sr. year trip to Chicago. Everything seemed to click that year with the drumline and concert band. I loved pretty much everything from drumline. We were a very "unique" group. I miss the energy that we would feel right before a contest. It was awesome.

Halliwell-Burns, Jason

In January of 1998 I began working in Commercial and Residential Property Management. In October of 2004 I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to manage Charles River Park, 38 acres of high rise commercial and residential property in the west end of Boston. 
This year I received my medical license as an EMT,-P soon the side, I am now a Paramedic attending Northeastern University to become a Physician’s Assistant. 
Fondest Memory:  Way to many fond memories to list here. But I have to say that my biggest regret was dropping out at the very end. I really regret it to this day.

After graduation I attended OCU as a Dance major, with aspirations of working in Theater. I soon discovered that I wanted to do theater, but I also wanted to have money!! I then graduated in '98 from UTA and began teaching 4th grade for LISD at Camey Elem. All the while teaching dance and choreographing musicals for LHS, FMHS, and Community Theater. After 6 years of teaching and living in Flower Mound, my partner, Vince and I have moved to Sugar Land, Texas. I now work for McGraw-Hill publishing, and work in musical theater when I can! 
Fondest Memory:  Bus rides, band camp, drumline parties, being Drum Major, winning the state football game at the Houston Astrodome, and being a part of the "rebuilding" years under Kent and Brown.

I have a BBA in Management, minor in English from the University of Texas Arlington and have been working in the telecommunications industry (Nokia) for the past 2 years and am transitioning over to a new position with Ericsson. I will begin graduate studies at SMU in the spring. For fun, I am currently pursuing an interest in wedding photography.

Stevick - Holland, Jennifer 
Class of:  1998      Instrument:  Bassoon and Cymbals (Drumline)   
I started at UNT after graduation, but in 2000 I met Henry Holland (Denton Ryan grad) and we married and moved to Amarillo, TX to own/operate a Chick-fil-A Restaurant. I transferred to West Texas A&M and graduated in May 2006 Cum Laude with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies/Education.  We moved back to Lewisville in May 2006. Currently, my husband works for La Madeleine Restaurant as a manager and I am working as a substitute teacher for Lewisville ISD and hope to get my own elementary classroom next year.    
Fondest Memory:  Post-game drumline parties (& pranks!), the 1996 State game, Corpus Christi trips, playing in the hallways before pep rallies, coming up with cool Cymbal "visuals" for the show

Johnson, Jeff

After High School I attended TAMU-Commerce and studied music. I graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in music. I then started an apprenticeship where I learned how to build steel drums. I then went into teaching. I have taught percussion at Grapevine HS, Keller HS, and I am currently the percussion coordinator for Mabank High School.
 
Fondest Memory:  making life long friends in the band and in the drumline...most importantly...out of a stroke of luck, having the opportunity to have JJ Pipitone as my high school percussion instructor.

What haven't I been up to (besides playing the French Horn) I am finally finishing school at UNT with a degree Home Furnishings Merchandising. What can I say, I partied a lot. Two years ago my fiancée and I bought a new home in Aubrey, Texas. We have two cocker spaniels named Cotton and Little Cletis. They are my babies, and speaking of babies, I just found out I am going to have one last week!!! New baby, yeah!!! We are thrilled. That is the last eight years of my life summed up in a paragraph. Crazy.  
Fondest Memory:  Riding on the bus to and from games and getting yelled at by all the drum majors for cursing. We all thought we were so bad *** back then.  **Editorial...this is not myspace keep it clean***

Graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Chemistry in 2003. Currently at University of Texas Houston Health Science Center working on my PhD in Molecular Pathology with an emphasis on tuberculosis. Gonna get married Dec 2006 to Jason Sutton (fellow drumline buddy), who is currently getting his MD also at UT Houston HSC.  
Fondest Memory:  THE PIT GIRLS! and of course those late night fiascos involving the drumline  ;)

Kent, Brad

After leaving LHS in 1999 I completed a master's and doctorate at UT-Austin. I served as director of bands at Texas A&M-Commerce from 2001-2005 and am now director of bands at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. My wife Laurie and I have two daughters, Sydney (2002) and Marin (2004).  
Fondest Memory:  I am thankful for all the amazing students that I had the opportunity to teach at LHS from 1992-1999! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the great memories.

Since I graduated, I attended a few junior colleges. Couldn't decide what I wanted to do, so I ended up going fulltime with Lowe's Home Improvement. I have been working for Lowe's now for 7 years. I have gone from cashier to store manager. Right now I am currently trying to do district training for them.  Anyhow, I just recently have gotten back into playing music. I just bought a new drum set and I play my bass and electric guitar a lot. I bought a house in Garland in '04, so that is where I am currently. 
Fondest Memory:  Dreads on the bus ride to state!!!

After high school i attended UNT majoring in Science, which was short-lived. I think I changed my major at least 4 times while actually at UNT. I pledge Alpha Delta Pi in the spring of 1998 and consider this one of the best things I did during college. I still dont have that degree. But I know my major, education.  In the summer of 2004, I married David. In Feb 05 Case joined our family, and we moved to Northern Utah. In july, Cole will join our family. And will be relocating again shortly thereafter to Atlanta with his job again. 
Fondest Memory:  There are so many. Mr Kent losing his baton. Chicago trip. Winning state in football our freshman and senior years....I can't even remember them all.

Graduated from Texas Tech University in 2003 with a degree in Euphonium Performance. Was one of 3 selected for postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Machester, England.  I now live in McKinney with my wonderful wife (who went to that other school in Lewisville!) where I am a freelance euphonium soloist and private instructor. 
Fondest Memory:  Hmmmm not sure about this one, there were so many, I think the Midwest trip the Wind Symphony took to Chicago......good times.

Texas Aggie with a major in journalism. Married fellow LHS band member Matt Spletzer in 2003, and moved to Lafayette, Ind., where Matt attends grad school at Purdue University. I'm a copy editor and page designer at the Journal and Courier newspaper.  
Fondest Memory:  My fondest band memories include marching in before football games (with the drum line setting off car alarms), shaking water bottles, and getting lost on trips.

Graduated from LHS and attended Baylor University where I received a Bachelor of Music Education. On the first day of band camp at Baylor, I fell in love with the girl marching next to me in the saxophone line. It took her a few years to feel the same way... but I eventually won her over with my charm. Kristen and I married in May of 2003. Student taught with Mike Brown at Flower Mound H.S. and am now the Director of Bands at Centennial High School in Frisco and absolutely loving it.   
Fondest Memory:  My fondest memory was undoubtedly the people. When it all boils down - my friends are what I remember.

I attended Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Music Education. I have been teaching band in various school districts (including Lewisville for two years!) and now I am teaching middle school band in Keller, TX.  I love it!!! I am happily married to Jeremy McBride (we met at Baylor) who is a euphonium doctoral student at UNT.   
Fondest Memory:  Freshman year marching camp at ETSU, Mr. Kent dropping his baton at UIL, making all-state, spring trips, and being drum major!

After graduating from LHS, I went to UT and tried Computer Science. After about a year of this, I began the hunt for a new major. I wasted away a year trying to figure this out so I decided to stop and think things through. I was able to land a job a few years later as a web/graphics designer at a medical device company in Houston. I have been there for over 6 years doing graphics work as well as system administrative tasks. I just recently relocated back to UT, in hopefully advertising, while still working at my
current job remotely. How cool is that? :-P  
Fondest Memory:    You gotta love all the Kent-isms and of course, how can you forget.....all of Bill Robertsons' antics.

I attended Texas Woman's University for seven years, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1998 and a Master's degree in Biology in December 2000. I met my husband in 1999, and we were married in June 2000. Taught seventh grade Science with LISD for three years before our son was born in 2003. I now stay at home with him and our daughter who was born in 2006.  We are expecting another daughter in October. My husband and I try to go to at least one LHS football game every year to see the band.   
Fondest Memory:    The fun times at band camp, marching in the parades, marching every Friday night, playing music.

I've earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Creighton University and a master's degree in science education from Indiana University-Bloomington. After teaching high school chemistry and physics in Indianapolis for a year, I decided to work on my doctorate in chemistry at the University of Kansas (and will be moving to UC Irvine soon). I am happily married to Heather Fritsche who is an optometrist.  
Fondest Memory:    Being part of the drumline was a blast, but I really enjoyed the Midwest Clinic in Chicago (as well as all other band trips).

Well, after high school I went to Texas Tech for a music education degree .  During my time at Tech, I marched Blue Devils for three summers. That was a memorable and unique experience that I will never forget. Then, after I finished my classes up at Tech I was hired on in Seminole, which is just south of Lubbock. Here, I am in my second year as the assistant band director at the junior high and high school. I'm enjoying teaching and am looking forward to moving back to the dfw area in the near future. 
Fondest Memory:    Probably have to be the trips to Chicago (both times), D.C., and to TMEA, the many performances and music making experiences and of course the infamous Mr. Kent baton throw and retrieve, and definitely the friends and experiences we shared.

Attended UTA and began studies to become a mechanical engineer. My heart wasn't in it so I changed over to Music Education. I met my future wife in the music department on the first day of marching camp (she plays euphonium). I now teach in Plano at Carpenter Middle School and live in McKinney. My wife and I have two little ones, Anna & Tommy. 
Fondest Memory:  Kent-isms... I use them with my students all the time: Example: "This is not a circus in here (bandhall)!" or "Give me your eyes, I need your eyes on me, please!"

After graduation, I studied music education for about a semester at the University of Texas at Arlington. Unfortunately, that didn't work out and I eventually dropped out of college.   I started playing guitar, songwriting, and performing around the Dallas area. I have graduated from massage therapy school, owned built and operated my own massage company. I currently live in Dallas and work as a National Account Coordinator for a relocation firm.  
Fondest Memory:  Marching BAND! I loved every moment of it! From marching in the football games to performing at the contests - especially our senior year!

After graduation I marched a summer with Pioneer Drum Corps. I went to a small school in Nashville and graduated May '05 with a degree in film. Now I'm living in Austin, and just trying to get some things started.  
Fondest Memory:  Drumming down the halls before pep rallies, playing at the state championship game, and ice skating in Chicago.

Fondest Memory:  The parades were always a chore...but where I had the largest sense of pride. Band trips...and the end of the year banquet.

Spickard - Watkins, Jennifer

I am now a science teacher at LHS, continuing to enjoy the tradition of being a Fighting Farmer! I married fellow LHS band alumni, Bobby Watkins, in November, 2005. We currently live in Flower Mound with our dog, Riley. 
Fondest Memory:  The trip to Washington D.C. my senior year, using poker chips for spot markers (!), the feeling of marching into the stadium the last time, & my friends who I continue to keep in touch with today.

I ended up graduating in '96 instead of '97. After high school I attended SMU and graduated in 2000 with a BBA. After college I worked as a computer programmer/consultant for PWC/IBM. In 2002 John and I finally tied the knot. I continued working for IBM until our son was born last year. Jacob is now 1 and changing every day. I love being a stay-at-home mom and we hope to add to our family in the next few years.

I attended the University of Arkansas (GO RAZORBACKS!) and finally graduated 6 long years later. I am married now and have two beautiful kids (girl and boy). We live in Keller, Texas and life is great. I miss everyone so much, especially everyone on the drumline from 1989 to 1993. Please K.I.T. (remember that)

Everyone knows it's all down hill from the Band that Marches with Pride...but I've managed to live. I coasted off to the University of Alabama and graduate cum laude in 2002. From there I popped up to Vanderbilt University Law school.  After I got my JD I hung out in Nashville for about a year. Now I'm back in Dallas practicing immigration law.
Fondest Memory:  Without a doubt it was pour honey on a fellow band member's head on the bus to Corpus (I'm sorry about it, but it really was funny!!!)

I graduated from Baylor University in May of 2004 with a degree in Music Education. I am currently a band director at Keller High School in Keller, TX and am planning to be wed in June 2006 to a Naval Academy graduate who is currently training as a Marine pilot.  
Fondest Memory:  My favorite memories included entering the stadium on a Friday night, the awesome Chicago/Mid-West trip, playing great literature, and my life-long friends I made.

I graduated from Harding University in 2003 with a Music Education degree. I married a Marauder and moved to Iowa City where my husband is working on a Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of Iowa. I am teaching elementary gifted and talented...for now. 
Fondest Memory:  I have many from the Kent and Brown days, but I think my favorite was the Meyerson concert in 1995. I decided that night I would be a music major.

I graduated in Dec 1995 from UT Dallas w/ a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics.

I've been working in the 403(b)/401(k) retirement industry for over 9 years. I currently work at ING ReliaStar Retirement Plans as a Senior Systems Analyst and Head of OmniPlus Technical Support.

I'm married to Chris (also was in LHS Band), and we have a son who turns 2 in Oct 2005. 
Fondest Memory:  Being grouped with the tubas during my first year in band. There wasn't an empty slot w/ the saxophones, so I was the petite sax player between the tubas -- easy to spot during halftime!

Just got married in November to a wonderful British man! Yes, yes, we met on the internet. But it was in a video game! HAHA Anyhoo he's most delish. I have inherited 10 acres of land from my Grandmother who just past away. So we are moving out there June 3rd. He's excited to be out of the city. I think I'll get there. :) My brother is graduating HS this year.  And I'm working on my 10 year plan for Art History at UNT. Other than that nothing much else goin on.
